Ferrofluid is an amazing liquid which reacts to the influence of a magnetic field.

@skodamastudio - thanks for the compliment! We're very flattered that you think this is footage of your artwork, but you're wrong i'm afraid. This footage shows ferro fluid in a machine made by Krafted Limited for a Pendulum music video using magnets by Magnet Expert Ltd. The only connection between this video and Sachiko Kodama is the ferro fluid that was used.
