Knopfler style #2-Dimarzio pickups AREA 58/67/61

I put 10-46 gauge strings on this 2008 am strat along with the dimarzio loaded pickguard-vox AD15VT and RP1 processor - the overdrive was just for test purposes and not my regular rig- but you can get the idea of how these pickups work with with distortion

GREAT SOUND. I'm curious as to what type of POTS you use (250k or 500k). DO you subscribe the the belief that adding on 500k (as the factory suggests) to the VV or Area Dimarzio's really makes that much of a difference? if so, for the tone, the volume or both? I'm getting conflicted opinions.

@leopolski888 250 pots came with the loaded Dimarzio pickguard and you heard what they sounded like , you can always change to 500 k if you want more treble . JC

the preload pickguard . . was it the "Area" pickguard from Dimarzio? great playing btw . . .
