I know the X interview was probably done a few months before Rick Rubin became Co-Chair @ Columbia Rec. But now since that has happened, and with Rick revamping the the A&R department over there. And talk of Jay-Z having a position over there, after he stint as president of Def Jam is over. X is going to want to leave Sony, because he doesn't want Hova handling his project, that's why X left DJ.
