The wheel is broken it has been restarted and it only resets when plugged into the computer. It won't turn off so it is constanly draining the battery until empty if anyone knows how to fix this let me know because the only other option is spending at least $79 to fix it.

EDIT: READ THE COMMENTS FOR IDEAS ON HOW TO FIX IPOD

  • @hanachan131 look for other videos about how to take an iPod apart. Most of those kind of videos can show you how it is done. It is always better to have a picture of video of what you are trying to do to help.

  • For everyone that was wondering, I ended up getting it to work after a few months of just letting it sit. I didn't open it, it didn't have water damage, the click wheel was just misaligned. I already sold it and bought an iPod Touch

  • @1986Sheri I just bought a new iPod Touch

  • you have the hold switch on

  • @AnimationAnimater12 nope, it was off.
