On August 21, 2007, The City of Findlay Ohio, located in Northwest Ohio, experienced a flash flood. A flood so severe that would wiped out thousands of homes and businesses. The city of Findlay Ohio has not flooded this badly since 1913. This disaster is now known as the flood of the century for residents of Findlay Ohio. This slideshow is one segment of a video that is now in creation.
i use to live in findlay, i dont anymore. but im 13 now so this hppened when i was 8 or 9. i lived on forest lake drive (if any of you know where that is). we only got 4 feet of water in our basement. my family was lucky.

I walked (swam? ...you could call it that if you please) all down main street that first day it rain, and by the time I got to like Dollar General it was like a river through the entire town.

I moved to Findlay a year later And I will never forget all my friends telling me how lucky i was because the next year had a "flood" half the size! They said it was the luckiest thing because my residence im living at now would have gotten flooded!

i was there cleaning up the town and i remember people stealing scrap metal to get money that was messed up but funny i live in fostoria
