Nice short Tom, I liked it.
it's artsy but not fartsy.
I noticed you used a lot of black transitions on the melody, it reminds me of my vid caught inside (which is a lot worse than yours, believe me) There's not much dialogue either, do you prefer it that way?(I havent used dialogue myself in my first shorts)
wow. i'm doing media for year eleven and am trying to do the whole arthouse/childhood/ idiosyncratic/fantasy jazz, and seeing this art is quite disheartening. How did you get the overall colour? My editing program is shit!.

thanks! I used premiere pro to edit. I applied a slight warming filter, and adjusted the input levels slightly to get a stronger contrast and richer colours. I also hired a good camera to get a more professional quality. My advice would be to not make your film too adbstract/arthousey because no-on will be able to understand it, and that is not a good thing.

nice! did you shoot in in 24p with the xl2?

Yeah I did shoot in 24p to try and get the film look. That was one of the main reasons I chose the canon xl2.
