This is ridiculous.  When you're a police officer, a servant of the public, there is absolutely NO EXCUSE for just beating an already subdued individual. That officer should lose his badge, to say the least.

everyone loves to toss around the word "police state". thats bollocks we do not live in a police state. some people who are policemen overreact occasionally and use excessive force. they are usually disciplined.
"we live in a police state so shut the fuck up" is a completely ridiculous statement. how is it a police state at all? excessive force by an individual officer is not nationalism.
