Look at the beautiful Spiral and Ina Bauer!!!
And Jumps are so light, very clean landing.
In addition, I think Baiul Spin is her trademark with Ina Bauer. (Ina Bauer is the best in the world. Amazing.)

I love it when Arakawa made someone's ina bauer even BETTER than the original! Arakawa knows how to reinvent the Ina Bauer to make it her own! BEAUTIFUL!!!

i have to admit for a while i refused to like Shizuka Arakawa because she beat sasha here. but wow, she's truly an AMAZING skater. i love her ina bauer!

I enjoyed watching her on tv many years ago and then, on these videos. Arakawa has proven to be such an incredible, unbeatable skater in the WORLD! These videos are proof to her wonderful, gold medal, inspiring performance. As the other skaters take her place in the future olympic winter games, she will always be the gold medal winner to me!

I agree with you about what figure skating allegedly is all about, but she knew after Sasha's performance she didn't need the 3/3, however, she needed to get as many points and needed to win, because it truly is about winning, lol. The bauer into the jumping pass makes it more difficult, so she used it in that manner. She elongates the move in exhibitions.
