Use external storage devices to bump up your computer's memory and improve overall performance.

Windows 7, the new operating system from Microsoft, promises to be a giant step forward for users. In Windows 7 RC Preview, experienced instructor David Rivers tours through the features of the release candidate for Windows 7, highlighting important new features and improvements. He explores changes to the user interface, uses the improved toolbar, navigates accessibility features, and sets up a homegroup for home networking. He also explores local-aware printing and how to access Windows XP mode for older, non-compatible applications.

  • @pduarandall Because it's from lynda dot com, they always tend to get in-depth. Which is pretty good.

  • @Interdiu yea its normal, it wont show on the task manager.

  • Is is normal that I can't see a difference in RAM in my task manager?

  • @GreenStarProductions and how the hell do you pronounce cache?

    like cake?

no.... sorry to tell you but it's pronounced like cash.

  • @smartface96 yes it does, i have two USB's and a SD card in right now.

(it supports up to 8 devices simultaneously.)

  • @maincourseistoocool that's exactly what it does. up to 256 GB, i believe.

  • @pduarandall or the same process if you dont get the boost option.

  • @kizzck Depends on if it is built to handle readyboost. look up the requirements on google
