I have had a love affair with NOLA for years and travel there for work as often as possible. A bunch of these older photos are from Bellocq, a photographer who had access to the bordellos that housed the legal prostitutes during the early 1900's. I wanted to mix those in with today's art and ugliness of the city....the city has a vibrant, sexual, bordello vibe to me and I wanted to relay that in this montage.

Very nice/informative video. Did the house in House of Rising Sun survive the flood? Could you make more vids. maybe some of the gravesites of famous people in those above ground graves. Luv info on New Orleans, thx.

Lovely tribute to one of my favorite hometowns. I absolutely love the rich history, personality and diverse traditions of the Nawlins culture. The subtle (and not su subtle) interlacing of erotic references captures the ever-present sensual undertone of much of the city. Bravo.
