I got mine last week and the same thing happen to me and although i have a high tolerance for pain,these suckers hurt ! each side of your body and face has different nerves and tolerance for pain. I'd like ta think the reason why my right cheek didnt hurt, is because I'm right handed, then again I'm ambidextrous so i dont know haha.. it was prolly a combination of things like anxiety I mean after watching vid after vid and every ones reaction .. and like you said blood I was so nervous .
