Thousands of pilgrim from different parts of the world joined Pope Benedict in St Peters Square on Sunday to hear him recite the Angelus.
Among those present, was a group of motorcyclists from the International Caravan for the release of hostages, who came all the way from Columbia and who will meet the Holy Father on Wednesday during his General Audience.
Today is World Day to remember the victims of road traffic accidents, and the Holy Father prayed for all the victims of accidents and their families.
