sounds like foster homes were her best bet. just sad to say that because foster homes were hell for me and my brother except one. wow i just shake too think someone so small could be treated so horrable.god bless her where she rests.

Poor baby, such a short, hard and sad life. She was a pretty little girl, why did this happen. Her crazy "stepmother" (witch) couldn't handle her, strange, none of her kids are abused (?) and dead. I hope this "stepmother" gets what she has coming to her in prison. Rest in peace little angel, u r in a place where u will b truly loved.

This is only one of many stories that are "heart-breaking", for lack of a better word. I, for one, have no answers. If you've ever tried to intervene, you will be amazed at the lack of interest from your State. I've just viewed yet another of millions of heartbreaking stories re: this, and feel so impotent. It is WRONG! Yet, This "Is The Way It Is".....

This is happening right this second to more children than can be imagined. There are so MANY loving couples who desparately want a child & cannot conceive one. What is the matter with our "System"? Will it Ever! change? I personally tried for one child for over a year. "Amazed" at the doors slammed in my face when a friend of my niece's was being horribly abused is an understatement. The "system" in my area simply did not care. How to change a system that I found I Could Not! change? Outraged!

Continuing: This helpless child's cause of death was the result of "blows 2 the head & body causing a fractured skull & severed liver." Why? Because her stepmother "couldn't handle" Sirata's fits & tantrums thus she "threw her into a cold shower & beat her after the child wet her pants." For all of the abuse this child endured, her tormenter, who I cannot call a "stepmother" as no way could this monster be remotely in ANY way considered a "mother" of ANY kind was sentened to 8 1/2 yrs in prison?
