This is what Kim Burrell would really do. I mean, I have more of a Moss/Clark Style..and trust me..when I am in church..my minister of music and some of my friends will look at me hard if I do too many runs....lol! But yeah, this is not how I really sing...to get more of an accurate depiction of me..check out Tis so sweet....and even that....I was really playing around with....i hope you are blessed

Would Kim say that sounds like her? If the answer is yes, then yes. If the answer is no, then no. I agree that there is already a Kim Burrell and many people do try to emulate her. I would like to hear your true style and resonance. You have a nice voice and can do riffs just as everyone else does. Use your gifts God gave you and be you. You seem to have an humble spirit with the comment made about trying to break the Kim sound. Keep up the good work though bro.
