I've been looking all over for a video like this because I have a hard time seeing what diagonal I'm on from horseback. (No problem from the ground.) I agree that it's a big hard to distinguish with the horse's color, but this is still super helpful.
@pinkybill2003 the way you do it is fine as long as you get the right results... after a while you won't even need to look at all... you'll just feel it. you're doing great if you get it even if it's not the same way someone else gets it... everybody learns differently :)
@pinkybill2003 I KNOW :) lol I thought of that the first time I edited the video !! if I ever do a remake I will put some contrasting color tape on the horse's shoulders !! :) it's a great idea :)
i also really appreciate you saying 'down' and 'up' out loud. i always do that, but it seems like i get a beat off, so i have to start posting when i say 'down' because if i try to go up when i say 'up' i'm too slow or something. do you have any advice?
this is a great idea but its hard to see his shoulder move since he's all white- maybe consider putting some kind of mark on his coat, or something? i'm a new rider trying to figure diagonals out! i really appreciate the video!
@greatwhiteholda thanks :)
