My current VFR is less than two years old & I didn't think I would find another worthy V4-biased sports tourer. After seeing this, I'm already contemplating a change.

is this coming to the USA

It should arrive to the US this year (at least that's what Honda said past year). The MT VFR has already reached European dealers, and the DCT one should be here this year as well.

A scooter uses a continuously variable transmission (CVT) that kills riding experience as we (bike-riders) know it. In the auto world this kind of transmissions is called "automated manual", and should behave like a real manual (except that it has an (two) "auto" mode(s). Besides, myself I'd also take the manual, so it's good that Honda offers both choices with this bike.
