You Really Got Me AxeFx and Redwirez

Here's the patch I use to play the Van Halen cover "You Really Got Me".
I'm using the AxeFx Ultra directly into ProTools via a Joe Meek Twin-Q mic preamp.
All the Fx are from the AxeFx.
I am using an experimental cabinet IR made available on the AxeFx forum by Redwirez.

im confused as always, when you talk and play are we hearing the sound through your truth monitors? or somehow the sound recorded coming through our own monitors and you have some vid camera for your voice at the same time?

Any talking is captured by the mic on the camera. The AxeFx runs into the recording rig direct. I import the camera file into the recording software and cut all audio from the camera mic track EXCEPT the talking.

So what is left is two direct audio tracks from the AxeFx and 1 edited talking track from the camera file. I then export the movie file from ProTools. This was done a year ago. I now use Logic Pro 9 to do this.
