King of Fighters is dumbed down, as is Street Fighter, compared to BlazBlue and Guilty Gear. I mean, I like all four, but BlazBlue and Guilty Gear required me to actually learn traps with different characters, combos, etc, while street fighter/KoF was just special moves and pokes.

KOF XII is a sick game, despite peoples bitching. I like that old kof fans like me have to play a KOF differently. I thought this game would lack depth originally, but its surprisingly good and the game can be sick when you find a good match. Which because of the shitty netcode is rare.
