  • @seasonedtoker You are well come! A new information always help, thanks for explainig too.

  • @TheFreedomly I agree, that's totally true, thanks for adding that. ;) fortunately some rubber parts on modern bikes are now solvent-proof, like hub dust caps and so on. but the main concern is the tire itself of course.

  • @seasonedtoker That 's right, solvents such as kerosine, gasoline, and so on...they don't spoil alluminun parts, steel parts, or smith parts, as long as they 're very well washed off, but if somebody spill products which they contain solvents over plastic parts, or spilling over rubber parts, it 'll be necessary to take them away, i mean, to remove them, cuz plastic parts, or rubber parts, when put into solvent products, it can damage them such as ripping them.

  • @TheFreedomly I keep reading so much different stuff about how to clean the chain, but no one ever mentioned motor oil. the way I do it involves much more driving than sitting by your bike. I oil the chain with motor oil, do a short trip to cure it, then wash it off with garden hose. super clean. motor oil contains anti-gunk-up solvents that clean everything that's not and integral part of the chain. relube with your favorite chain lube and continue driving. solvents aren't bad for METAL chain!

  • I agree with him in parts, i agree at, that it is necessary to mantain all the components very clean to a perfect and sincronised work and a appropriate work, but now i desagree with him that one can use gasoline to clean the chains, neither solvent one should use, i recomend to use deisel oil that it won't advance the quick spoil on the parts.

  • Very profound explanation, thanks for sharing.

  • that is so true! i cleaned out the dirt from my old MTB and re-lubed it and its so much smoother!

  • what a gay comment

  • HQ button, it does nothing!
