Stephen and Jean Kennedy-Smith, sister of President John F. Kennedy, had a home in Pawling, New York. The family may still own the estate for all I know. ?
Macaroni lived there after he left the white house..

is the pony still alive?

Jackie Kennedy knew how to ride as a kid, and rode her own pony in blue ribbon events that were open to her high society family. She made that available to Caroline too.

I would also like to know what happened to Macaroni. I hope he was not just cast aside. Does anyone out there know?

I am curious. What happened to Carolyn's pony, after they moved out of the White House?

I love this passion of Mrs. Jacqueline Lee Kennedy, First Lady. She was an enthusiastic equestrian and passed that down to her children Caroline Bouvier (Schlossberg) & John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Jr. I can just imagine the joy on the then young Caroline Kennedy's face.
