@bob1189 Hey Bob. It might not have been the same delivery. But I know the photo I took was at the end of the Newcastle Freeway at Beresfield. I guess it's possible that they drove to the end of the freeway to turn around to go back to Eraring? I don't think it'd be possible to cross the freeway on an overpass with a load that big.

I dont think this went trhough newcastle area, they moved a few from Bayswater to Eraring

I saw this parked on the side of the road at Beresfield near Newcastle in NSW. I had to stop and take photos for my son who loves trucks. This is just the most awesome thing I've ever seen!

my god how many of those useless american trucks do you need to pull a 300 tonne transformer? we would have used two scammell mark 2 contractors to move that in my day. ultra heavy haulage my are!!!!
