Lucy is recovering from back surgery. She is relearning to walk. At this time you can see the increased effort she is making with both hind limbs. The water allows lucy to move forward on the treadmill without dragging her limbs.

  • @evelynvet It doesn't work like that. The dog has to do it herself. The water supports and she tries to move, that's how the process progresses. There's a second video on the right to show what progress she'd made a few months further on.

  • aww..i hope she recovers

  • Sorry, but I have to add a bit of constructive criticism. I hope that there is a therapist in the water with this dog on a regular basis. Someone should be "walking" his back legs so that he can relearn to walk, Just allowing his hind legs to drag just doesn't do anything more than dragging on the ground outside the water. Good luck!

  • hey how is she doing?

im going throught the same thing with my jack russell
