Beating Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

Shield Rod + Alucard Shield... kicks some major arse...

No cheat codes used however my system freaks out and messes up the text.. But the voices are fine.

This games truely amazing. My character could use a lot of work before hes maxed out yet.

if you have the shield rod, and the alucard shield equipped you press both the button for attacking, and the button for the shield at the same time. Than you can basically walk into anything and kill it. AND it heals you at the same time...and i think it gives you hearts too....not sure.

As do I, which is why I bought an adapter and hooked a Xbox 360 controller up to play it.

Okay you have the game, put it in your PC and play it with a PS Emulator, which is how I recorded it because I don't have a capture card. The words glitch due to the PS emulator being suckish.

I've played this game for the 4th time a while ago, and never did the captions glitch.

How do you get the Shield Rod to work (w/ the Alucard Shield)? All it does for me is do the typical shields spin, beam of light and shiny Alucard. No side effects, or better said, no effects at all.
