Sam the Mule is 3 now and after spending a lot of time doing ground work and learning about different types of halters he is ready to start working in a bridle. Rather than choose a bit for this training I've chosen to use the Nurtural Bitless Bridle ( www.nurturalhorse.com ) for his first introduction to how a bridle feels and works.

  • why don't you just use a hackamore? I don't really like bits myself unless it's a light snaffle or light curb for a very headstrong mount. I've almost always used hackamores.. they're like what you're using, but it's alot less complicated, and you don't have the distracting rings off to the side where you put the rigns, also you can get them almost anywhere as far as I know, I'm not sure where to get a bridal such as what you're useing. If you could tell me i'd like to see one for myself :) ty
