  • A gun is always loaded...until you make it safe, or, it is made safe. Period.

    i disagree with you,it is always "safe" to assume a gun is loaded,does it kinda strike fear in outside the firearms community,yes it does and it should,because a gun is not a toy to play around with,so a healthy little fear isnt that bad at all,heck i even checked my gun if it is empty as it came from the factory,better safe than sorry

  • "All guns are always loaded." is an outdated and impractical rule. There are obvious situations in which a gun cannot be handled as loaded. Such a nonsense rule is confusing to people outside the firearms community. In my opinion, the NRA's updated "Always point all firearms in a safe direction." is much improved.

  • Always good to hear new tips or reminders.
