@lbrewer42 I think you are reading my response incorrectly. I was responding to someone who said that the stimulus fixed the budget and put Ohio back upright. I responded that the money got dumped down a hole to offset items already putting us deeper in the hole.

I also noted earlier that the fix in Kasich's budget is that he is putting us on course without the reliance on federal funds which are about to go away. I have supported Kasich since he was my rep 15 years ago.

@rrsrichard Yes - liberals who deny common sense, logical facts, and historically PROVEN being utilized and working for the general populace are in a category akin to what you label with such derogatory terms. However, I feel these poor individuals are actually doing it out of legitimate ignorance b/c they are feeling the impact from the school of hard knocks raining on their fantasies. @modernesquire That is not correct. The ability to offset the deficits would not have been possible without the stimulus.  The bulk of the federal money went into bulking up the state funds and very little into any job creation. In fact, unemployment went down another point and a half the first year of the stimulus; one would argue that left nowhere to go but up from a deflated projection.
