  • Eighth Part [Eight of spades]...Just 52 people have watched this video on YouTube, I feel so unique, so special, is like if this was a special show for me on the 3 am movie theather, in 1984. People interacting with him at the time were really moved, I think art is undoubtly connected to the artist life, I mean, the more you know about his life and his relations to other people, the more you'll enjoy his music, and how liberating it was!.

  • @DarkHeartedMusician I think it`s Ray Copeland

  • monk indeed had a singular technique. it only looks like lack to those who dont know what they are looking at.

  • he made his transition in 82. so he could not have been seen in 1984. just a thought.

  • this is the best documentary ever done.

  • John Birks "Dizzy" Gillespie.

  • See Monk...he's the man!

  • I love his sense of humor! "You'll flip, you'll flip for real" and then he does the gesture! gotta love Monk.

  • Hey, who's the trumpeter warming up at the start of the clip?

  • @aarfeld Do you like Thelonious Monk or appreciation for jazz?
