Authors@Google: Gavin Pretor-Pinney

Gavin is a Sunday Times Bestselling author and the co-founder of The Idler magazine, a periodical devoted to the noble struggle for an easy life. He has degrees in philosophy and graphic design from Oxford and St Martin's. His previous books are The Cloudspotter's Guide and A Pig with Six Legs.

He will talk about cloudspotting and his new book, The Cloud Collectors Handbook. The book takes you through the commonest formations and their varieties and species, to the rarest jewels of any collection, its the essential reference for identifying and understanding every cloud that floats by.
