  • @robbo3166 It's called "speedglass". It's a weld glass with variable shades working on batteries and/or a little solar panel.Ain't excactly new; don't know how long you are retired but this has been around for some odd 15-20 years now.The welding masks you were used to still excist too.

  • @Zombunist LOL and its MPI's job to fix all of them 

  • @geomodelrailroader for sure. all sorts of stuff comes through the shop. Weve got a few untis that look like cabless twinkies. I havent asked anyone about them but Im guessing theyre slugs.

  • @Zombunist LOL if it is a MPEXpress or a Dash9 even a switcher MPI can fix it and get it back on the rails after its engine is fixed.

  • @geomodelrailroader Not every one. Many have had repair or overhaul work done at our facility however.
