this is the song from the mombo kings. When i heard it as a child I said one day I will sing that song the way i hear it in my mind. Now that technology is so affordable, i can share this sound with the world, with nothing more than my laptop. No offense to Antonio Banderas or Los Lobos, or Armand Asanti, but I don't think any of them understood this song.

This song was written for the movie MamboKings. In the movie Armand santi and Antonio Banderas sang it together. However the soundtrack had a version recorded by the band Los Lobos. So I guess either of those versions would be the"original."
