Project TDS a.k.a. ''The Definition of SPOP''

Here at the University of California Irvine, there is a program called SPOP (Student Parent Orientation Program). Each year, incoming freshman are required to go through this program in order to register for classes, get accustomed to the campus, and meet new & current UCI students. The goal of this program is to help give the incoming freshman a comfortable and easy transition into UCI.

A staff of 140 current UCI students volunteer for this program to facilitate this 2-day orientation. For many, SPOP has long been known to have not just been an "orientation program." It's more than that. Each year SPOP has literally changed lives & has made deep impacts on not only the lives of the new freshman but on the staffers as well.

In this documentary, I interview over 100 of these staffers, including their coordinators, and ask them what their take on SPOP is.
