I like how all religions can enjoy this song. It just mentions God, no prophets or messiah's, so all religions can listen to this and feel moved.

@AMVLOVER16 Greetings, My mother wrote this song in 1968. She was in a service with my brother Dick MIlls and he told the audience that if they would send up their favorite scripture that his mother would write music to the verse before the service was over. It was a surprise to her, but the Lord gave her the music and she wrote it before the evening was over. It was in a church in Oregon.
Her name is Pauline Michael MIlls. She died in 1992 at the age of 94.
