  • Muhammad Ali, by any measure not just one of the most famous but one of the most beloved human beings that ever walked on this planet. Not only for his boxing but for the grace and courage and positive, healing manner in which he has lived his life since leaving the ring. When I was a 15 year old white kid in the suburbs watching him stand up to the US government, he taught me what it meant to be a man.

  • I honestly cry every time I watch this clip

  • “If you had told somebody in 1968 that in 1996 Muhammad Ali would be the most beloved individual on earth and the mere site of him holding an Olympic torch would bring people to tears. You’d have won a lot of bets. You’d have won a lot of bets.”
