To answer a previous question, Bojangles choreographed a lot of the Temple combinations. A secreat teaching tool was during shooting, he would squeeze her hand a certain way to assist her in the movement. I truly remarkable performance!!

The grown ass black man could out tap anyone. The thing is that Shirley Jane Temple never practiced. Neither did Bo. They tried to outwit one another. However, when there was absolutely no time, Shirley made up her own dance and Bo duplicated it in an instance to match her footsteps. In an instant!!! Then Bo disappeared. She never did find him so she used ?John Kennedy's funeral as a replacement for Bo's funeral. He was the BEST friend a lost little girl ever had!!! May Jesus remember him kindly
