@almostnormalCB Hi......thanks for looking........You see I always wanted an archtop to sound like a Fender..I love the Fender Single coil sound...So I found these Gretsch Dynasonics...and boy to they sound great clean!...Use a Fender TUBE Amp (Hand wired P2P older Fender Vintage if you can) then use the bright switch..presence up.. and a slap delay setting on a effects pedal..(I use a vintage Ibanez DD10)
Tell me how you go....You CANNOT go wrong if you use an Old Vintage Fender Amp...Frank

can anyone explain to achieve that tone? what guitar amp? or pedals? settings..... by the way it sounds better than a Gretcsh.
