Babel - to "To Know You" by Nichole Nordeman

Another tribute to one of my favorite films "Babel" starring Brad Pitt, Adriana Barraza, Rinko Kikuchi, Cate Blanchett, Gael Garcia Bernal, and Koji Yakusho. Here are various clips of the film.

The song playing is the Christian song "To Know You" by Nichole Nordeman. I know it may not fit every single part as it is talking about God most of the time but I thought it fit most of the parts very well especially since it's talking about love and the characters indecision fits.

I do not own the film, or footage from BABEL or the song "To Know You" by Nichole Nordeman.

okay ive never seen that movie, but ive been looking for that song FOREVER lol cause i didnt know anything about it, heard it one time on klove and fell in love wt it.. finally found who sings it today, and typed it on youtube, ended up here. well thank you very much for posting the song

Yes, I'm American. A little ashamed to say so sometimes because of how many stuck up, uneducated, fat and lazy Americans there are but nonetheless I am proud to be in this country.

I'm planning on learning French next since I've pretty much mastered Spanish. I intend to set a good example for Americans in both countries.

In reality it doesn't but I love doing that; setting songs to films that don't really fit. Someone is always able to find meaning behind it no matter what. I just thought it worked well at the time. Plus it was my favorite movie and my favorite song so I was like "What the heck. Why not". People seem to like it, though.

@estupido7490 I love the song but I have to tell you, and I mean no offense, but the video you chose to go with it was a major distraction for me. Sorry, I really don't mean to be critical, but instead of thinking about how I too want to really get to know God better, I was instead thinking about how these people in the video need to get out of the situations they're in. I didn't find God there at all. It had my head spinning so bad I couldn't enjoy the song.

@estupido7490 Hard for you to critique anyones "English" since your is par at best. "English" that indigenous North Americans speak is relatively new. The origon of the "English" that we speak is a derivative of a West Germanic language, founded of the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms from England under the influence of the Anglion midieval kingdom of Northumbria.

I am an American as well, and I hope to, before I die, change the typical view of Americans, because I do believe that, as you said, many are uneducated, fat, lazy, and rather selfish. Nice movie but there are some things exageerated a little bit , I'm a Moroccan and we don't shoot kids or slap womens in the mountains randomly for the sake of a wounded foreign tourist , I think the director made up this silly detail lol
