  • It's an interesting question He points out in this videopost. Why are you a Christian? it also challenges me as a Believer in Christ. This is the reason why we must remember the words of Jesus: "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." - John 17:3. God Bless to Everyone.

  • I have this DVD teaching and it is great!!!

  • @sthsam hey i know it has been a year but your statment is very well said

  • @mattthomas92 instead of being written by the men who have their names to them, in fact written by epistles after death. Not true first hand accounts, so therefore ' unreliable bullshit'. Next time, look before you leap and you might avoid sounding like a twat that has trouble deciphering the differences between two completely different subjects. Assumption and speedy unthought , sarcastic responses seem to be the language of the youth today. Keep representing.

  • If you're going to use sarcasm as a response you should first learn to grasp what it is you're reading. The title of the video and at at the beginning Ramsden says "the gospel can be explained". He then does not touch on that at all. Instead he tries to explain 'why people become christian', nothing at all about the gospel. Ramsden erred, not me. My point was specific to the Gospel's, the most notable of which written generations after the fact, possibly subjected to 'chinese whispers' and

  • @13eyeofthebeholder that's so much better reasoned than ramsden's christian viewpoint isn't it? secularism truly is the pinnacle of rational thought isn't it? Keep representing...

  • Of course the gospel can be explained.

    It's bullshit.

    There.........Explained.

  • very well said Michael Ramsden

  • awesome vid! thanks for posting!

  • See, he understands what the Christian faith is all about. It's not simply a Sunday check-list where you cross off your "christian" doings or a gathering of people who meet weekly at Church on Sunday to compare clothing. It's about something much more profound and meaningful than church and religion alone can define, it's about faith and a relationship with Jesus. I heard Mr. Ramsden speak in person once, he said, "the role of a Christian is not to get to Heaven, but to God." Thank you, Mike.

  • Call it copy-paste if you like, but it works. You cannot prove there isn't a teapot orbiting the Sun, the same way you cannot prove there isn't a deity that controls all events in our universe. Doesn't mean that there is a teapot orbiting the sun, just like it doesn't mean there is a deity that controls everything. Not hard to understand.

Give me the 'correct' context of faith which I can attack then.

  • @00Whysoserious00

Ah, the old copy-paste teapot argument. The reason I don't believe there is a teapot orbiting around the Sun, is NOT because of a lack of evidence, but because there is evidence AGAINST such a claim, the same way that I am not an amoeba or a tree.

Secondly, if you're going to refute the notion of faith, then you have to take it in it's CORRECT context, according to the religion in question, or else you're attacking strawmen.
