In a couple of your videos you use that 'chinstrap' technique. What is stopping your opponent from just wrapping around the top of your neck and sweeping you?
Thanks Jeremy, If your opponent is locked down, you will have to free the foot first before attempting this pass. We usually do this by using the "free" foot to help strip the "locked" foot and then hide the now unlocked foot by tucking it under your hips when it is free. Some guys really prefer lock down, but many guys who have a strong half guard may not use it so that they may more easily transition to other half guards...deep half, etc.
I hear a lot about putting weight on your opponent but I don't see many MMA fighters "on their toes," not even those with wrestling backgrounds. Is there a reason for that?
I have been doing bjj for 15 years and thought I had made this pass up, oh well I guess what works for me works for others, this is my favorite and highest percentage pass.

Nice! I have been having problems passing from this position for a long time. I will try this next training session. Thanks
