비엔나 악우회관 (Wiener Musikverein) 에서 열렸다.

70년 전통의 상임 지휘자가 없는 비엔나 필하모닉은 매년 누가 지휘봉을
잡느냐가 세계 음악인들의 큰 관심사가 되곤 하는데, 금년 비엔나 필하모닉의 지휘는 오스트리아 린츠 (Linz) 출신의 프란츠 벨저 뫼스트 (Franz Welser Möst) 가 맡게되어, 오랜만에 오스트리아 사람이 지휘를 맡게 되어 비엔나 사람들은 기쁨과 함께 한껏 기분이 상승되어 있다고 외신(外信)이 전하는군요.
