I admire your calm and measured rebuttal to an ill-informed, insensitive and classist member of the petit-bourgeoisie. The woman with whom you are having colloquy will simply not be able to listen, process and respond to your argument. What you are doing, however, is far from a waste of time. It clarifies your own mind, and those of others. I admire your ability to be logical, but the frustration you experience is shared by many. The true meaning of "solidarity" is hard to define in words.
