host monster scam?

Some people are complaining about Host monster, because they are shutting down accounts that use excessive amount of resources, when they tell you in their publicity that they offer unlimited resources of band-width and disk space.

While this is true, let me explain the economics of this. Many web hosting companies are offering the same and doing exactly the same when they find someone using large amount of resources, so it is impossible to compete with them when you tell the exact amount of space, C P U, usage or bandwidth, because few clients understand this, so they expect people will at most will be using a decent amount of resources, but not much more than that.

If you really have a high traffic website already, you should not be looking to host your website on a shared hosting like Host monster, it is better to use a V P S or a dedicated server, but if you are starting out your website this host will be useful to you for a very long time or possibly forever.
