Oh my friggin gosh, I would be climbing the walls screaming!!! I think I would be too scared to kill it, I would have to run outside and beg some random guy to come in and kill it for a few bucks, lol.

@Sp00nska Which would you rather have, a harmless (Yet big) spider, or cockroaches or other insects that spread disease and influenza, but yet make a good dinner for that spider? Most spiders are completely harmless yet people kill them and then wonder why there are so many other bugs around. I handle spiders bigger than this all the time, and have never been bit by one. They are natures bug spray, give them a break!

mmmmm Kill it with fire!!!! you only need a spray and a lighter so it can't run when you already burn its legs...

That's a huntsman spider. I suck them up the vacuum when they come in my house.

holy shit...

I agree with @KnoxBlondie here, looks like a Hunstman. Reason being is the shape of it's body that I saw in the video footage and it's posture. It's legs were kind of pushed in front of itself. Also, they're FAST!!! And that spider FLEW across your wall. My bet, it was a Huntsman, and if so, you're ok. =)

The solution to everything.... Poking/hitting things with sticks ;D

If that thing was in my house it could stay there and pay rent but I would MOVE OUT! Eeeeeew

@RichMenAreEvil You would think that climbing the walls in fear would be the worst idea ever if there's the spider you're afraid of on it. :P

They can't see it on that dark floor, lol.

No, I don't know for sure. As I said, I think it might have been. But I believe it is a good chance it was, since I was in Brazil at the time and the basic look of the spider seems to match.

I don't think it's a Brazillian Wandering Spider. They're actually quite toxic to humans, however it might be a Heteropoda Venatoria (Huntsman Spider). What state of the USA are you in? The northern states should be vacant of this psycho excuse for a spider.

I was in Brazil. I know that Brazillian Wandering Spiders are very dangerous and I tried to avoid it as my friend was killing it.
