Superman vs Hulk

Hulk get stronger as he gets angrier, but, if you are into psychology, human can only get so angry, yes, there is a limit to how angry you can get. But, the question is , when hulk reaches his anger limit, and therefore he stops getting stronger, is he stronger or weaker than Superman?

Btw, I know its silly to apply science to comic books as they can bend/change the rulebook at will, and even contradict themselves, but I thought I would add this to to the discussion.

The closest thing to Superman on Marvel comics is The Sentry. I´m a DC and SUpes fan too, but Sentry is a very good character.

Is the most powerful in the Marvel universe so Supes is the best in DC obviously (except for Superman Prime).

@f0rt0r The hulk has no limit to his rage. It's fuelled by past pain and whatever is causing him to be angry now. It wells up beyond human limits. You have to consider that the hulk isn't really a human when he transforms. His strength has no upper limit, and his rage can keep building without a limit.

Because the writers in DC tend to be a lot less consistent than those in Marvel, who historically have preferred their heroes to be a little more 'human', I think you'd have to pick a specific writer/story arc's interpretation of each character to determine their limits. I've seen Superman stories where badguys barely stronger than Killer Croc have managed to draw blood on Supes WITHOUT kryptonite--using CLAWS... yeah, not very good character interpretation there, eh?

First of all how can you say Kal'El is super human when he's Kyrptonian whcich make him super kyrptonian :P he may be super man only because he's male. The Hulk is the strongest human (there is) only because he is human. Hulk can kill superman oly because if you tranfused super nerd ( who dah hell say you underwear should be worn on the outside) with Hulk all that Gamma would poison him.. hahah

@themyth117 In terms of physical streght i think Sentry is one of the most brutal characters y Marvel, with Juggernaut and Hulk. BtW no character is the most powerful in any universe because the same character can loose against a weaker one.

In fact Thor was beaten by Superman.

@MrAdamthebigdick well you can't base it off movies or shows but superman is stronger than the hulk at first but i'm sure that the hulk could possibly reach or surpass superman's physical strength if he's enough but at a start off supes is at a way higher level strength for sure besides supes has so many other powers to use against the especially his mind.
