  • Great song off a great album. Released in 1975, it didn't recieve much attention, and was considered a flop. Regardless of that, it's one of my favorite Journey albums.

    Lineup:

Gregg Rolie - Lead Vocals, Keyboard

    Neal Schon - Lead Guitar

    George Tickner - Rhythm Guitar

    Ross Valory - Bass Guitar

    Aynsley Dunbar - Drums

  • When a band has Neal Schon.Santana's protege, and Anysley Dunbar playing on the drums at the same time along with a good synthesizer player, you know you're going to be hearing some unique world class music. When I saw them twice as a warm-up band for 2 other well known bands, both times they blew the other bands away tremendously being mainly an instrumental centered band. But then they switched over to a vocal pop band and ruined their sound.Too bad.

  • People like to point to album sales after Perry arrived but then again,. more people eat at McDonalds than Texas de Brazil.

  • Totally agree the 1st version of Journey was totally under rated ... you need to put a set of headphones on and listen to this whole album un-interruprted of the Gems of all Gems to be sure!

  • I saw them do this song in 1976 on the last day of school( my junior year of high school) a free concert in Golden Gate Park. Yesterday & Today open, it was a classic SF day. I was hooked them from that day on, till SP came along. What a downer

  • Everything Journey did before Steve Perry was great. Infinity was alright, but I think pretty much everything they did after that sucked.

  • If the last 2 min. of this song does't define excitement in music then I don't know what does! Don't stop listening to this song during the 1st 5 min.or you'll miss the climax.Spend 7 min. of your time and listen to the full song, trust me,you won't regret it!

  • Considered a flop? Not by me.It only took people 36 years to realize this was Journey's only good album EVER.Listen and let youself be taken into a short journey of adrenalin rushing ecstasy, like rock music was created for.
