  • oh wow! poor advertising by that company! well thank you! luckily i havent used it since i got my new one. but thank you for telling me that ill make sure to be more careful in the future.

  • hi mikey

looking forward to seeing test shoots with that new lens

i have the Canon EOS 500D

    with Canons

    18-55mm kit lens

and Tamron 70-300mm, f4 DI ive been looking at the Tamron AF70-200mm F/2.8 Di

  • Thanks, and yea its a very good lens!

actually my newest video "photoshoot of Friends" is actually made up of just pictures that i took with the Tamron lens, i have not stop using it. and most reviews say the focus is very slow but if you are coming from just standard entry level lenses, it is actually alot faster and the quality rivals the one from Nikon is about $2500. so i find it to be a very good deal.

  • well ive read a few reviews on it mikey

some one says it not good for fast moving things i cant afford the canons one thats around £5399.00 as im from the uk as i will be more in to sports events i need one that can keep up with the action were tamron say it can handle sports events but after hours of watching and reading things off the net im going to get the Tamron lens i can get it for £609.00 here in the uk

  • yea thats nice! i think you will find it is a very good lens i hope it works out for you! i got it for about $700 her in the US

  • pleaseeee review the tamron 70-200 :DDD ,thx

  • it does work with 3rd party commanders. but it only works in manual mode.. and look into yongnuo flash triggers. they're like $50 for 2 recievers and 1 sender and they work just as good as the pocket wizards. and look in to the yongnuo flashes too. they're good for building a portable strobist kit. and they're only about $50 too

  • the d60 doesnt have a focusing motor...

  • You described the focusing ring on the Tamron 70-200 as "pretty cool"...

wow... And you got that and an SB-600 both for christmas??? I sincerely hope you are always grateful for that

  • yuo,ni prob.
