(almost as if you've gotten so tired and just lost all of your energy and need to lean on something, and Sleep!) Which makes sense, because they were mostly safe, but the lady at the end hit her head. she couldn't have predicted that and compensated for it, but it still happened.

Basically, post hypnotic suggestion, and possibly amnesia.

I believe it was a post-hypnotic suggestion. They don't show where the people were all day. So Derren could have hypnotized them 10 feet away, and the suggestion could have been something like, "The next time you hear anybody say the phrase, 'Jello is sliding down, just drifting and floating down, all the way down, sleep!' you will go back into this trance like state because you enjoy it. Nod your head when that's accepted."

and just sent them on their way. For the turning and fall

yeah, but he also says, that he uses missdirection. after that he tells us about no actors. it could be the first missdirection in the shows. it could really be like: hi this is derren. a hundred bucks if you pretend to pass out.

the effect is there. totally... and thats what it is about.

Yeah I'm not particularly convinced either, however at the beginning of each of his shows he categorically states that no actors or stooges were used...
