  • hard to catch keepers on shore for me

  • @korbel53 This past year was tougher than usual. Most charters produced between 5 and 8 tautog per man, biggest being around 10 pounds. The bite was slow, not very aggressive and the fish were running smaller. The wicked winds made the water around the inshore wrecks very cloudy. I believe the bigger fish feed when the water has stabilized, and the pressure doesn't keep dropping. However, great year for large seabass 65 miles out!!!

  • how come you dont have a cooler???

  • We do. However, you should bleed them out first in buckets of sea water, then Ice them down. It makes them taste better than ever!
