Michael Goodwin discusses his essay on the dangers of losing the freedom to fail from the book New Threats to Freedom. When youth sports matches have no clear winners or losers, what are the players really learning? Wouldn't a world where failure didn't exist at all be wonderful? Goodwin explains why any attempt to eradicate failure is actually an attack on the freedom to succeed.

Does no one else notice that this video's opening lists single women as a threat to freedom along with cyber-derangement, young stalinists, and complacency???

    Yikes.

idk if removing the right to fail is nessesarily a good thing dude. i mean ya it kinda brings everyone down or up to the same level and ya its good for those few who crave more but i just think that we shouldent be giving handouts to these people. an education needs to be valued or ells it looses its value you know? i mean there was a time where kids in school care a hell of alot more then they do today. thats because the education was harder and it meant you got somewhere. incentive

I read the essay in the book. The writer argues that single women are more likely than married couples to depend on the state to survive. Single women who seek state-funded daycare or other forms of social assistance encourage the growth of statism and a corresponding loss of liberty in society.

An actual STARGATE/PORTAL-THING was captured on film. The footage can be found within the short-film entitled "SUDDEN PORTHOLE", which is currently parked at the PROJECT CAMELOT YouTube page (it's under the George Noory video).

I'm not selling anything...I'm just trying to spread the word about the unseen-dimensions we find ourselves embedded in.

My BLOG contains the peripheral data regarding the movie and is where I reply to the "debunkers" (use search words "Sam Zurick" & "BLOG"). THANKS!!

The philosophy for measuring success with failure is an academy failure in it self. If parents properly guide their children in their studies they will arrive at success with-out a chain of failures.

Hahaha wow. Exactly what about single women did the book say was a threat to freedom? I don't see the correlation.

It actually is listed in the book as a threat to freedom. I got a copy in order to read more on Goodwin's claim for a scholarship. "Single Women as a Threat to Freedom" bit was right before Goodwin's. It's ridiculous, haha.

I saw that too and was a little freaked out. But I think it was just part of a longer statement, and it got cut off by the side of the screen. I doubt anyone thinks single women are a threat to freedom.
