Where has all the music gone.
Sad.

This piece and her singing of Close Your Eyes are superb. I remember her from the sixties but only now realise how great her talent was. I believe Peggy Lee discovered and encouraged her and that is high praise in itself. I agree there seems to be no song writer who matches the great ballads of the 30's, 40's and 50's though Baccarach's "Look of Love" sung by Diana Krall is an outstanding exception.

I saw her reinacted at Angels on the Bluff in Natchez, MS, her hometown, this past weekend. Her family made her a headstone there in that cemetary.

Marion's voice and performances are so inspirational even now - what a sad loss to us all. Please could we have more videos of her?

Absolutely fabulous .What a voice and style .....and the added bonus of the wonderful Dudley Moore.

Yes. I'm in complete agreement with you....cheers!!!
What we have today in singers and songs is crap
No more great songwriters, no more great songs, just garbage.
