  • To use the Emotiva amp with a receiver, the receiver has to have preamp outputs.Look on the back.If it has jacks labeled PREOUT LF RF then you're good.

  • Listen to Emotiva gear before you make statements like that.

  • It doesn't sound "forward" to me.Just a great sounding amp.

  • I think it would work great with your Cerwin Vega's.I use mine with Thiel CS7'S and they sound great.

  • Thanks for the video, helpful to me. I will probably buy the xpa-3 soon.

  • All this "made in China" bashing is down right funny. Just because a company "assembles" your unit in America or the UK, doesn't mean it was made there!! Facts are most of these high end units have their parts manufactured in China and shipped back to where ever for assembly. Those of you who doubt, open up your cases and be amazed....made in china stamped all over the place. IMO

  • hellooooo you toooobers.

  • this is very interesting , i am running a pioneer sc-lx83 and to be frank , i dont like the way it sounds for music , specially when it comes to my taste in music , its perfect for acoustics but not for electro , this emotiva got me interested the XPA-5 with UMC-1 , would love to hear how that will sound tho too bad the UMC-1 dont support 3D via HDMI =(

  • @motorcitydeadman bowers and wilkins speakers are made in china now..the best hi end speakers ever existed imho! are they garbage to you too?

  • @motorcitydeadman What exactly makes it garbage? Just that it is made in China?

  • Can you use this amp on regular receiver? or it has to be preamplifier? i dunno if i explain my self correct, i hope you get what im trying to say. Thanks
